Today in class we will be revisiting yesterday's problem that you will have seen in class. Have a second look at it and make sure you have a good feel for how you can find the vertex when working with standard form. You can also approach the problem in a different way by attempting to find the lowest possible maximum value.
Today would also be a good opportunity to have a look at the practice questions we've assigned if you haven't started already.
Today in class we will be revisiting yesterday's problem that you will have seen in class and can see again in yesterday's blog post. Have another look at it and make sure you are able to identify the transformations and complete the new graph for at least one of the examples. A different task to test yourself would be to choose one of the functions and write your own transformation equation to draw a sketch from to make sure you're clear on how the transformations are communicated.
Today would also be a good opportunity to have a look at the practice questions for outcomes R2, R3, and R5 if you haven't started already.
