Course Information
In this course, the majority of our time in class will be spent completing lessons to introduce our topics, working on practice, and completing assessments of the course outcomes. Students will need to spend time outside of class working on practice questions to master the skills and knowledge. The more a student completes, the greater variety and approaches they will have experience with. We have three different sources of practice for students to work from.
The first section below is a collection of video lessons and examples from various sources that is being added to and changed as new sources are found. The second section below includes a PDF version of our exam-based practice booklet, including the four past provincial exams the questions are taken from. Our course outcomes will be listed with the approximate date we completed it in class. The third section is for provincial exam review and will be added to as we get closer to the date for the provincial exam near the end of the semester.
If you are encountering difficulty in this course, please speak to Mr. Sumner to get additional help as soon as you are able to. Receiving additional help and reassessing outcomes are both very possible if we discuss matters and make arrangements.

Provincial Exam Review
Below are links to previous provincial exams and their marking guides. It is strongly recommended that students work through multiple past exams to help prepare for the variety of question they may encounter for the numerous outcomes the exam covers. Note that students receive 45 minutes with Book 1 and their calculator. Following that time, the calculators are put away and Book 2 is handed out. The remaining 2 hours and 15 minutes can be used to work on Books 1 and 2.
Booklets will be uploaded prior to the exam.
