This week we will not be having a new PoW and will instead be handing in our second for marking. Make sure to look over the outline I've given or download the one posted on this page.

This week's PoW will have you using clues to figure out where the numbers have ended up on a clock that's been mixed up. Reasoning will be key in sorting this one out. Good luck!
This week's PoW focuses on the pattern of a growing rectangle. In particular, we are interested in seeing if we can predict it's perimeter and the number of dots and lines needed to make it. Give it a try and see if you can grow your mind!!!
This week's PoW will target your spatial reasoning as you are asked to manipulate block shapes that somewhat remind me of Tetris pieces. The goal is to produce as many rectangles as you can using all eight pieces. As an extra challenge, try doing this without flipping any of the pieces over. Either way there are multiple solutions for this problem. Good luck!

What are PoWs?Problems of the Week are puzzles, problems and questions I give out in a 4 week cycle. The first three weeks are new problems for students to try. The fourth week is a chance for reflection and an opportunity for students to choose one of the three PoWs to hand in as a showcase of their problem solving abilities. Hand-in OutlineArchives
